services currently available on the
Charleston campus into one building.

Clinical trial facilities, including phase 1 clinical trials unit.
Stem cell transplant program.
Specialized cancer-focused physical therapy center.
Survivorship and supportive care services to guide patients
throughout their treatment journey.
The hospital will be a hub for care, offering the most advanced, specialized surgeries and procedures. It is scheduled to open in 2030.
Care close to home
MUSC is building out cancer services across the state,
bringing our specialists to communities near you. These
centers will o昀昀er expert care, and physicians can consult
with or refer to Hollings if necessary.
Nexton (Summerville) – A new hospital and medical building will offer
comprehensive medical, surgical and radiation oncology care.
Indian Land – A new hospital and medical building will offer the full spectrum
of inpatient and outpatient cancer care.
Florence – A new cancer facility will elevate and expand the level of and
access to current cancer services, including medical oncology, radiation
oncology, gynecological oncology, and surgical specialties such as breast,
urology, and thoracic surgery, as well as offer expanded clinical trials.
Okatie – Hollings specialists are already providing medical oncology care,
even as construction of a new medical building is underway.
