PATIENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Physical & Occupational Therapy
Hollings offers physical and occupational therapy and lymphedema therapy to help
people to deal with side effects of cancer and cancer treatment. Ask your care
team for a referral, or ask the front desk team at check out to assist in scheduling an
appointment.
Psychological Support Services
The Behavioral Medicine team consists of psychologists, psychiatrists and other
specialized providers who offer services to help people experiencing emotional
distress related to their cancer diagnosis. Ask your care team for a referral to
Behavioral Medicine at any time.
Rapid Access Infusion Clinic
The Rapid Access Infusion Clinic offers
appointments to current chemotherapy and
immunotherapy patients experiencing mild
to moderate symptoms, such as nausea/
vomiting, rash/skin changes, fatigue, diarrhea
or constipation. This service is intended to help
patients avoid the Emergency Department
whenever possible. Treatment is by appointment
only. Please call 843-792-9300 (M-F, 9 a.m. –
4 p.m.) or 843-792-2123 (after 4 p.m.,
weekends and holidays) to ensure that you can be
seen for an appointment.
Social Work
Social workers have experience in connecting patients with services and resources.
They offer support for concerns including transportation, lodging, adjustment to
illness, caregiver issues, mental health and financial issues. Ask your care team for
a referral.
Support Groups
Support groups can be beneficial for people who have been diagnosed with cancer

Tobacco Treatment
For cancer patients, quitting smoking is one of the most beneficial things you can
do to help improve treatment outcomes. Ask your care team about our Tobacco
Treatment Program or call 843-792-6785.
