WELCOME
As one of the leading cancer centers in the Southeast, and the only NCIdesignated cancer center in South Carolina, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center
prioritizes you and your needs. We understand that there’s more to your life
than “cancer patient.” That’s why we’re here. From our researchers in the lab to
our doctors who have experience with the rarest of cancers to our nurses who
have chosen to earn specialized credentials in oncology, our focus is helping
you get the best possible outcome.
Cancer Center
A Cancer Center Designated by the
National Cancer Institute
Our team includes more than 100 subspecialists — doctors who have extra
training to diagnose or treat specific types of cancer instead of treating all
cancers. We will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan that is
based on scientific evidence and takes into account your individual needs.
Our care extends beyond the medical. In addition to state-of-the-art
treatments, Hollings offers patient support services, including nutritional
services, genetic counseling and other assistance outlined in this guide to
support the financial, physical and emotional aspects of cancer.
We have more than 150 researchers who work together to find better ways
to detect, diagnose and treat this complex disease. We offer more than 200
clinical trials for patients to gain access to innovative care that may not be
available anywhere else.
Our mission is to guide you through every phase of your cancer journey, from
diagnosis to treament and survivorship. Our patients become part of the
Hollings family, and we are honored that you’ve chosen us for your care.
