Outpatient Parking — Garage
Self-parking for outpatients is $0.75 per half hour, up to a
maximum of $3 in MUSC parking garages while attending
an appointment. To receive this rate, the ticket must be
stamped by registration staff in the area where you receive
your care. See the previous page for the parking garage
options closest to the building where your appointment
is. Please bring your parking ticket with you to your
appointment.

Outpatient Parking — Valet
Valet parking is available for a fee of $12 at Ashley River
Tower, Rutledge Tower and Hollings Cancer Center (for
patients and families/visitors of patients only). Drive your
vehicle to the main entrance of any of these buildings
for valet service, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to
6 p.m., as available. Public Safety will obtain your keys if
you leave the clinic after 6 p.m. Call 843-792-4196 for
assistance.

Inpatient Parking
Inpatients’ families and visitors may park for $0.75 per
half hour. The maximum daily rate (up to 24 hours) is $6.
To receive the reduced rate, the visitor should provide the
patient’s last name and room number to the cashier when
exiting the parking facility. The cashier will issue a receipt.
This will allow unlimited additional exits during the
24-hour period at no charge.

Mobility-Impaired Patients/
Handicapped Parking
All MUSC public parking locations offer accessible
parking. For wheelchair assistance, use a courtesy phone
near an elevator or call 843-876-0101 (7:30 a.m. to
5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) from your cell phone.
South Carolina state law provides that there is no charge
for parking in metered or timed facilities for vehicles
that display a handicap plate or placard and are driven
by or transporting the handicapped individual. If the
handicapped individual is not in the vehicle, the posted
parking rate applies.
